Outreach at Fountain of Life Church

When Cain killed his brother Able in the first book of the Bible, God came looking for Able. He asked Cain if he knew where Able was. Cain responded, "Am I my brother's keeper?"

At Fountain of Life we've decided that the answer to that question is "Yes!". If we believe that we have received such a wonderful gift from God, then we also believe that we have a responsibility to share that good news. To keep this good news to ourselves is just not in keeping with Jesus teachings.

In fact, we believe that God has eliminated all of the reasons that we were unable to experience His love and has reconciled us to Himself. Then He gave us the responsibility to reconcile others to God by sharing the life that we have found with everyone else. In the New Testament of the Bible, we are told "it's as if God is making His appeal through us".

So our vision defines our church as an "outreach community". We shape everything we do to include reaching out to others to let them know how much God loves them. If we don't do this, we're just selfish and denying our responsibility to be our brother's keeper.
