The Lordship of Jesus Christ at Fountain of Life Church

Our faith in God and in Jesus Christ as His Son is the foundation of all of our belief. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. If you want to know God, you need to know Jesus. He transfered from an invisible realm and entered our visible realm to demonstrate God to us and to deal with the sin condition that kept us from knowing Him. Then He rose from the dead and returned to the invisible realm asking us to spread this good news.

When we believe in Jesus as the one who delivers us from our sin and as the one sent from God to give us new life, we experience a transformation. Not only are we forgiven of our sin condition, but we are given a new life source that we did not have before. In that transformation, we are also transfered from one realm to another. We move into an eternal realm where Jesus has been made the Lord. In the Bible, this is called the Kingdom of God.

Our community functions and prospers by following the laws and directions of the Kingdom of God. The Bible is a record of the ways of God and the laws of God. It is the written record of how to live by this new life we have received. All of our focus and all of our effort is guided by our understanding of the heart of our God. We do it His way because we have found that it works.

We say that we are "making the circle bigger". The circle is the Kingdom of God and it's ruled by the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
