Seniors Ministry

Our vision for the seniors here at Fountain of Life church is to create a network that not only meets their special needs, but also provides opportunities for social interaction that build friendships and encourage community. We plan to accomplish this by focusing on five key areas:

Companionship

Provide activities to bring seniors together for fellowship, interaction, and spiritual growth.

• Monthly meeting every 3rd Thursday at FOL, usually 1–3pm.
• Special Day Trips and activities are offered.

Provide assistance during the worship service and transportation to and from church if necessary. (we would like to develop a team for this)

Resources

Provide resources (information) for additional assistance if needed. (advice on county aid, assisted living, support groups, etc.)

Support

Provide family support and a listening ear during times of

transition, hospitalization, or extended home stays.

Home Care

Available to give home care if needed. (houskeeping, nursing care, or companionship—paid or volunteer)
