BIBLICAL PEACEMAKING

Our vision is to assist in developing a culture of peace in Fountain of Life Church where all our members are equipped to acknowledge and resolve conflict; seek reconciliation; and demonstrate true peace and unity which gives positive witness and draws others to Christ.

We believe that peacemaking is not optional for Christians.

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. All men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another." (John13: 34-35)

Steps to help build a culture of peace:

• Teach The Peacemaker: A Biblical Guide to Personal Conflict class in small group settings.
• Present "The Peacemaker Church: Building a Culture of Peace" seminar to all FOLC leaders.
• Add members to our team of peacemakers.
• Post articles on peacemaking topics on the Soul Care bulletin board.
• Explore hosting a neighborhood event with a peacemaking theme.
