A Light to the Nations

A Light to the Nations reaches out to provide love and care for orphaned and destitute children around the world. The special focus of their partnership with Fountain of Life church is building orphanages and churches in the Ukraine. There thousands of homeless children are left to fend for themselves living in the sewers under the city streets to find warmth during the cold winters. Members of Fountain of Life Church have been involved in helping provide these precious children a beautiful home where they will receive the nurture and training they need to live as Christians.A Light to the Nations ministries also partner with Ukrainian pastors and congregations to build churches. These hard working congregations are able to build beautiful buildings for worship using a small fraction of the financial investment that would be required in the US. God has been faithful to give hundreds and thousands of Ukrainian people a heart to respond to the Gospel and begin to live for Christ. These new believers, coming out of Communistic atheism have turned to Christ with the deep commitment and love of those who know they "have been forgiven much." They are putting their shoulders to the wheel to build attractive structures in which to worship and learn from God's Word.

Prayer Needs: Ukrainian Church partners to operate the orphanages as they are built. Church partners to help finance the ongoing costs of operating the orphanages. Continued grace in identifying buildings to purchase for orphanages. Wisdom to know how to influence the Ukrainian culture through Radio and Television. Continued favor with the Ukrainian GovernmentWisdom to add ministries appropriately.
