Missionaries

God has had a plan for the nations for a long time. We know that he told Abraham that he would bless him so through him all the families of the earth would be blessed. (Gen 12:3ff) But even before Abraham God had planned to redeem all those who believed. (Eph 1:4) His plan was that all believers, like Abraham, would bless others. He realized that only believers would understand that the best blessing is faith in Jesus Christ. All true mission work is based on this belief - we will pray and go and give because we believe, and because we believe, we have been blessed, and now we are overflowing with the love of Christ so that we must bless others.
